Thanksgiving in Missouri

It was a wonderful Thanksgiving with Mark's family in Missouri. My back started feeling much better (hooray!), and we enjoyed a week of visiting with family and eating all kinds of incredible food. On the big day Mark's parents quietly cooked all day and turned out a delicious Thanksgiving feast and the best apple pie ever. During the week we were also treated to Jill's meatloaf and Ray's French-style stuffed pumpkins.

The kids loved playing with all their cousins,

spending time with Nana and Pepe,

and visiting their great-grandparents!

We spent a fun morning at an indoor play place.

And the hotel also provided plenty of entertainment. This is Justin pretending to be an airline pilot making an announcement. Both kids loved swimming in the pool and also riding up and down the elevator and shouting, "All aboard!" Hopefully we'll be back again soon!

So cute! I esp love the one of Jenny Jr in the balls. She doesn't look as thrilled as the caption below so it sort of cracks me up. I love Justin. It is so wonderful that he still loves pilots. He may be the first musician / pilot ever!
